Cody Stokes finished seventh in the nation to lead the Carson High Naval JROTC rifle team to an 11th place finishe out of 250 teams at the annual Secretary of the Navy postal match.
As a result of the team's performance, Carson has been selected to participate in the National Shoulder to Shoulder match to be held April 18 and 19 in Ft. Benning, Ga. Team members are Stokes, Mike Moltz, Leah Taboada, Sarah Stadler and Gene Sitts.
