A service for Carole L. Benton, 63, of Sparks will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ross, Burke and Knobel in Sparks.
Mrs. Benton died April 25, 2005, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Reno. She was born to Luther and Harriett Adams in Prescott, Ariz.
She graduated from Yuba City High School in Yuba City, Calif.
She married Thomas Benton in 1961 and moved to Reno in 1968.
Mrs. Benton raised her family in Washoe Valley and retired in Reno.
Among her survivors are her brother, Jim Adams of Yuba City; daughters Nancy Benton, Pat McMullen and husband, Rob, and Janice Benton; sons and daughters-in-law Tom Jr. and Suzann and Dave and Holly; son, Chuck; grandchildren Michael Benton, Ashlee Benton, Colton Benton, Kyle McMullen and Trenton Saxton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
