James W. 'Jimmy' Taylor

James W. "Jimmy" Taylor, 50, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, died April 25, 2005, at home. He was born Oct. 30, 1954, in California, to James William and Ruby Taylor Thrasher.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Loyalton, Calif.

Mr. Taylor was a professional truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and working on his trucks.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; sister, Lori Stenz; and daughter Ann Marie Taylor.

Among his survivors are his son, Suan Taylor and daughter Shawna Taylor, both of Reno; mother of Carson City; and one granddaughter.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
