Welcome to a new feature of the NevadaAppeal.com website, Carson City Live. What is this? Well, some might call it a blog.

We we want to do with Carson City Live is create a way for the Nevada Appeal staff to better interact with our readers. It will be a place where we can discuss what is going on at the newspaper, talk about stories we are working on, and help explain why we do the things we do.

By using the comments system, readers can discuss issues with us, which we will use to help produce a better news product. This is a two-way street. We hope that by opening up the news reporting process, our readers will see what it takes to produce the news you see here every day. Conversely, we look forward to all the comments and feedback we can get.
