Crimes

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 41-year-old transient was arrested at 8:35 a.m. Thursday on Arizona Circle on suspicion of misdemeanor attempting to elude police. Bali was set at $757.

• A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday at Plaza and Washington streets on suspicion of misdemeanor defrauding a taxi, contempt of court, probation violation and having an open container of alcohol. Bail was set at $6,484.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

• One employee scratched another employee in the face in the 5200 block of Sigstrom Drive on Wednesday at 7:13 p.m.

• Someone attempted to steal the safe from the movie theater sometime Wednesday night.

• A backpack was found at the Carson City Library Thursday at 7:34 a.m.
