A funeral Mass for Shirley Ann Nelson, 58, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Viewing will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 6 p.m. at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mrs. Nelson died Aug. 7, 2005, in Reno. She was born April 30, 1947, in Antioch, Calif., to Harold Rodrigues and Corinne Gushen.

She married George Nelson June 22, 1991, in Gardnerville.

She attended nursing school. Mrs. Nelson was an LPN and an LADC.

She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Rodrigues and nephew Christopher Keathley.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Traci Crisp of Huntingdon, Pa., and David and Kerry Crisp of Reno; daughter and son-in-law Corrine and Edward Mather of Washoe Valley; parents Corinne and Ken Gushen of Fernley and Harold Rodrigues of Oakley, Calif.; brothers Paul Duane Keathley and John Keathley of Fernley and Jeff Keathley and Frank Keathley, both of Reno; grandchildren Aaron, Corie, Katlyn, Cody, Summer, Colby and Kyle; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
