Saturday night at Carson City Raceway the tropical trade winds will be blowin' in some genuine Aloha spirit as Les and Jeannette Harris, owners of One Napili Way present round six of the Les Schwab Speedway Championships fueled by AAA.
On tap will be Charter Media Pro Speedway (divisions 1, 2 and 3), Michael's Cycle Works Xtreme Quads, DC Motorsports Peewee Speedway, Entertaining Ideas Peewee Quads, Ponderosa Stamp Youth Speedway and the Vital Signs EconoBox drags. Also on the schedule is the final NAPA Kiddy Kash Dash of 2005.
This is the last race until Oct. 8, so if you snooze this Saturday, you'll have to wait seven weeks for the next one.
Carson City Raceway is at the Fuji Park Fairgrounds rodeo arena at the corner of Highway 395 and Old Clear Creek Road in Carson City, across the street from Costco.

CCR is a family-oriented entertainment facility and offers free parking courtesy of Deuce Nine Designs, 1,200 grandstand seats, modern restrooms, concessions, beer garden and picnic area. Fun Jumpers Earnhardt Memorial Park features a KidsZone with bounce house, face painting, EconoBox drags and more.
Pits open at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 6 and the show starts at 7. Adults are $9, seniors $7, teens $5, juniors $3 and kids 5-younger are free.
