Submit holiday memories now
The Nevada Appeal wants you to write about your favorite holiday memory and send it in by Friday.
For the ninth year, we are asking readers to write about that special gift, unexpected visit, memorable act of kindness or holiday season spent far from home - the one-of-a-kind moments that are both personal and universal.
E-mail them to email@example.com with "Holiday Memory" in the subject name, or fax to 887-2430. They may also be sent via the U.S. postal service to "Holiday Memory," Nevada Appeal, 580 Mallory Way, Carson City, NV, 89701, or dropped off.
We will publish as many of the stories as we can in the days before Christmas. Stories should be true, typed if possible, and no longer than 500 words.
Include your name, hometown, phone number, a one-sentence biography and a photograph of yourself or one that illustrates the memory.
