The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Cecelia Thessen Day, 37, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of grand larceny. She allegedly attempted to steal $980 of merchandise from Mervyn's. Bail was set at $25,000.

• A 29-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving and no insurance. Bail was set at $1,564.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A Palm Pilot was stolen from a business in the 500 block of East King Street sometime Tuesday night and a cleaning crew employee is suspected.

• A 78-year-old woman was injured after crashing her car into a ditch at Fifth Street and Butti Way 6:53 p.m. Tuesday. She is suspected of being intoxicated.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Auto burglary report in the 100 block of Desert Springs Lane at 7:52 a.m. in Fernley.

• Drug paraphernalia report at Fernley High School at 9:25 a.m.

• Accident at West Fremont and Main Street in Fernley at 10:20 a.m.

• Auto burglary report at the Fernley substation at 10:59 a.m.

• Vehicle fire at Breakaheart Road and Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 12:36 p.m.

• Threats in the 500 block of River Ranch Road in Fernley at 2:25 p.m.

• Auto burglary report at the Silver Springs substation at 2:28 p.m.

• Auto burglary report in the 100 block of Shadow Mountain Drive in Fernley at 3:20 p.m.

• Shoplifting report at Smith's in Dayton at 3:34 p.m.

• Felony arrest on River Road in Mark Twain at 3:35 p.m.

• Domestic dispute report on Burke Drive in Smith Valley at 5:06 p.m.

• Threats report at the Fernley Jack In The Box at 7:04 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 11:01 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A construction truck reportedly struck a power and telephone pole on South F Street at 9:54 a.m.

• A dump truck received a traffic citation at 1:03 p.m. on Peri Ranch Road.

• Warning for erratic driving was given at 3:06 p.m. on Waltham Way.

• Warning for speeding was given at on Waltham Way at 5:45 p.m.

• A juvenile was given a verbal warning for having expired registration at the Lockwood trailer park at 7:29 p.m.
