Wild hockey drops two games

Carson City's D.J. Freeman had an assist for the Wild Pee Wee ice hockey team in a 4-1 loss to Cupertino, Calif., last weekend. The Wild also lost 3-1 to the San Francisco Saber Cats over the weekend.


Reno's Daniel Biocchi had the only goal against Cupertino. The Wild is comprised of players 10-12 years old from Carson City, Minden, Reno and South Tahoe.


The Wild are now in fourth place in the Northern California Junior Hockey Association with a 6-4 record. They will next play at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 and 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Rink.
