Dolores M. Ellis, 78, a 35-year resident of Carson City, died Dec. 27, 2005, at her home. She was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Catherine Schnell.
Mrs. Ellis worked at the Carson Convalescent Center for 18 years as a nurses aide.
She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 2000; son Mike in May 2005; and grandson George Ellis in November 2005.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Herb and Patty Ellis and daughter and son-in-law Carole and Larry Chamness, all of Carson City; sister, Pat Major of Southern California; grandsons Mike Ellis of Sacramento and John Hodges of Oregon and Tony and Chris Hodges of Carson City; and six great-grandchildren.
