Private services were held Monday for Robert T. (Bob) Carter, 87, of Carson City who died Feb. 2, 2005, at Physicians Hospital in Reno.
He was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Coburn, Va., to John and Sarah Hubbard Carter. He married Elizabeth Lacy in Las Vegas in 1945.
He lived in Carson City for 30 years, and previously had lived in Northridge, Calif. An insurance broker, he attended business school.
Survivors include his wife of Springfield, Mo.; sons Tony of Hamburg, Germany, and John of Indianapolis; and grandchildren Natalie and Justine Carter of Germany.
Services and burial were at Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
