Viola V. Parker, 86, a Carson City resident for the past four years, died Feb. 4, 2005, at home. She was born April 28, 1918, in Chelan, Wash., to Paul E. and Viola Blomskog Gowey.

Before coming to Carson City, she lived in Camarillo, Calif.

Mrs. Parker was a graphic artist at Lockheed. She was a Christian.

Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Ron and Vivian Dietrich of Carson City and Joel and Terri Dietrich of McLean, Va.; sister, Linnea Bjorklund of Southern California; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
