Gladys I. Skinner, 82, of Carson City, died Feb. 13, 2005, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Reno. She was born May 1, 1922, in Washington, D.C., to George M. and Bernice O. Godsey Whitley.
Mrs. Skinner worked for the federal government. She was active with the Carson City Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Women of the Moose since 1975 and of the Redondo Beach Women of the Moose, Chapter 976, since 1985.
Among her survivors are her brother and sister-in-law, Linwood E. and Marilyn Whitley of North Garden, Va.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
