Sheriff's blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 45-year-old equipment operator from Carson City was arrested Wednesday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $715.

• A 53-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday on Wendy Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

• A mother reported Tuesday her 30-year-old son has been missing for five months.

• A mother reported Tuesday her 38-year-old son has been missing since Saturday.

• A man reported on Tuesday buying a stolen Ford Explorer from a subject. The same subject stole the man's 1976 Chevy pickup.

• Rifles were stolen Sunday night from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Edmonds Drive.
