The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 45-year-old office technician from Reno was arrested Monday at 1 p.m. on the 900 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of misdemeanor writing a check with insufficient funds. Her bail was set at $330.


• A 30-year-old cook from Gardnerville was arrested Monday at 11:40 a.m. on the 800 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Her bail was set at $1,000.


• William Paul Sears, a 41-year-old tree maintenance worker from Carson City, was arrested at 1:43 p.m. on the 1900 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of felony failure to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $7,500.


• A 29-year-old unemployed Stagecoach woman was arrested Monday at 12:10 p.m. on the 800 block of East Musser Drive for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,115.


• A 44-year-old hairstylist from Carson City was arrested Monday at 6:18 p.m. at the Desert Hills Motel for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply. Her bail was set at $1,000.


• A 24-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested Tuesday at 1:47 a.m. on the 700 block of Broadleaf Lane for suspicion of misdemeanor arrest of probationer. His bail was set at $3,000.


• A 51-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested Tuesday at 12:20 a.m. on the 100 block of Jacobsen Way for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,000.


• A 38-year-old shipping worker from Carson City was arrested Tuesday at 6:28 a.m. on the 2000 block of West College Parkway for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court.
