A memorial service for Thomas Edgar Nolan, 70, a Wellington resident for the past 13 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Topaz Lodge in Topaz.

Mr. Nolan died Jan. 9, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Superior, Wis., to George L. Sr. and Florence Nolan.

Mr. Nolan attended Bryant Grade School, Superior Central High School, the University of Washington and Pasadena City College.

Before moving to Wellington, he lived in Southern California.

Mr. Nolan worked for Avon Products Inc. in Pasadena for 30 years, retiring in 1991 as a supervisor. He was a Protestant.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Among his survivors are his wife, Joyce of Wellington; sons Daryl of Gardnerville and Kevin of Yorba Linda, Calif.; daughter, Karen Lucio of Corona, Calif.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers George Jr. of McAllen, Texas, and Richard of Superior; and sisters Jan Sprowells of Newark, Calif., and Ann Taylor of San Jose, Calif.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
