The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 22-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 10:31 p.m. Thursday at Hot Springs Road and Northgate Lane on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $177.
n Deputies responded to the following calls:
• A man reported he was supposed to receive diamonds for $10,000 in cash, but instead was given glass.
• A wedding and engagement ring were stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Spooner Drive sometime Thursday.
• A back window on a vehicle was broken by a juvenile in the 3100 block of Halleck Drive about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
• A person reported seeing two dogs in a pet carrier left unattended in the parking lot of Smith's at 2 a.m. An animal control officer responded and took custody of the carrier.
