Nevada seasons closing Jan. 31

The Nevada 2004-2005 hunting seasons for Chukar, Hungarian Partridge and four species of Quail (California, Gambel's, Scaled and Mountain) will close at sunset on Jan. 31.

The bag limits are:

Chukar: Statewide: Six daily, and 12 in possession.

Hungarian Partridge: Statewide: Six daily and 12 in possession.

California, Gambel's and Scaled Quail: In Elko, Eureka, Lander and White Pine Counties: 5 daily and 10 in possession.

California, Gambel's and Scaled Quail: In all other counties: 10 daily and 20 in possession.

Note: Mountain Quail: Two daily and four in possession.

Note: A Nevada Upland Game Bird Stamp: Is required of any person, 12 or older, who is hunting any upland game bird, except Dove, Turkey and Crow.
