The Carson High School rifle team wrapped up the Southern Division championship on Tuesday with a regular-season ending 1,254-1,224 victory against Wooster Tuesday afternoon in Reno.
Chad Shroy shot 254, while Cody Stokes and Sarah Stadler logged identical 252 scores to lead Carson individually. Mike Moltz and Robert Bagley both shot 247 and Gene Sitts turned in a 241 to round out the team scoring.
Carson, 9-1 in regular season league matches, will join five other teams to compete at the first Northern 4A rifle championships Saturday at Hug.
