Crimes

The following people were booked into Carson City jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Shannon Prieto, 21, a Carson City mother, was arrested about 5 a.m. Monday at the corner of East Adams Street on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon for allegedly injuring her husband with a screwdriver and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $33,000.

• Michael Gene Hayward, 44, of Carson City was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Monday in the Goni Pits on a felony warrant for criminal contempt and a misdemeanor warrant for no insurance. Bail was set at $15,949.

• John Woodbridge, 48, of Carson City was transported from Washoe County jail to Carson City about 2:35 a.m. Monday on a felony warrant of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Kermit Kincheloe, 44, of Carson City was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Monday for felony possession of methamphetamine and felony probation violation. An officer reported seeing Kincheloe swaying side to side on his bike near Stewart and Carson streets then finding a hypodermic needle taped with electrical tape to a bar on his bike. No bail was set.
