An open house for the public to take a look at the new Conservation and Natural Resources Building is this afternoon.

The structure at 901 S. Stewart St. will be dedicated as the Richard H. Bryan Building at 10 a.m. with Gov. Kenny Guinn, Conservation and Natural Resources Director Allen Biaggi and invited guests attending.

The open house for the public is 4-6:30 p.m.

The five-story structure is still swarming with workmen putting on finishing touches to the landscaping and on the top floor. The Divisions of conservation and Natural Resources expect to finish moving in some time in August.

Bryan retired five years ago after two terms in the U.S. Senate. The Democrat was also Nevada governor, attorney general and a member of both the state Senate and Assembly during his public career. He is now a member of a Las Vegas law firm.
