A memorial service for Angelina I. "Angie" Wright, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 56 years, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church's small chapel, 300 N. Lompa Lane.

Mrs. Wright died June 2, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Montello, to Julio and Bianca Isola.

She married Harold Wright July 3, 1947.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived other areas of Northern Nevada.

Mrs. Wright worked for the state of Nevada for 35 years in Parole and Probation and was a dispatcher for the Nevada Highway Patrol. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies, especially needlepoint. She was a Carson-Tahoe Hospital Auxiliary volunteer in the gift shop. She was a member of St. Teresa Church Guild and the Little League organization. She was Woman of the Year in 1986-87. She also enjoyed the company of her dog, Tipper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sept. 28, 2000, in Carson City and grandson, David Giese.

Among her survivors are her son, Harry "Nipper" Wright of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Charlie Giese of Simi Valley, Calif., sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Bob Everett of Las Vegas; brother, Pete Isola of Sacramento; sister-in-law, Bonnie Nishikawa of Carson City; special cousin, Tony Manfredi of South Lake Tahoe; granddaughter, Holly Crain of Santa Clarita, Calif.; two great-grandchildren; and four nephews.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
