Galena High graduate Joey Hooft had another solid game for Arizona State, but it wasn't enough as the Sun Devils were eliminated by Florida 6-3 from the College World Series on Thursday in Omaha, Neb.
Hooft finished his career by going 2-for-4 with a run scored. He singled and scored to give ASU a 3-0 lead in the second inning.
Next for Hooft will be signing with the Texas Rangers who made him their 20th round draft choice.
