Tickets will be on sale from 1-3 p.m. Fridays through Sundays at the Roberts House Museum for an old broadcloth and pastel shades quilt sewn by the Carson Valley Quilters.
The quilters stopped in for tea on Saturday at the historic museum and brought along the quilt that will be raffled to raise money to build a carriage house at the museum.
Tickets are six for $5 and the winner will be drawn Dec. 11 during the Victorian Home Christmas Tour.

Carson City's Daniel Evans was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in Operation Enduring Freedom this spring.
Daniel Evans, a Pfc. in the 325th Airborne infantry, is the son of local radio station owner Jerry Evans and Leslie Evans, who is president of the Blue Star Mothers group. The Evanses run KPTL 1300 AM, Nevada's Talk Capital, and KCMY 99.1 FM, My Country, in Carson City.
The National Automobile Museum in Reno has an interesting exhibit for auto and history enthusiasts. Titled "DeSotos, Dames & Dudes: Divorce Reno-Style" the exhibit capturing the 1930s and '40s divorce trade in Nevada will be on display through Oct. 3.
The exhibit features a 1947 DeSoto Suburban and a 1936 DeSoto De Luxe Airstream Taxicab. Divorce seekers staying at a first-class hotel in Reno were usually picked up at the Southern Pacific train depot by a car and driver, or by taxi. The dude ranches usually sent their wranglers in station wagons.
Photos and text excerpts from Bill and Sandra McGee's "The Divorce Seekers: A photo Memoir of a Nevada Dude Wrangler" will also be on display along with Bill McGee's roping saddle he used while working on the Flying M E dude ranch in Washoe Valley in the late 1940s.
