The Sierra Lutheran High School of Douglas County will host its first clay pigeon shoot this Saturday, May 21 at the Carson Valley Clays Gun Club located at 90 China Springs Road, south of Gardnerville.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with competition 10 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by lunch.
The shooting will be Lewis Class competition with 100 red sporting clays per shooter,
Prizes will awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
The registration fee is $75 per person, which includes a barbecue lunch.
Proceeds will go to benefit the Sierra Lutheran High School scholarship funds.
