A funeral for Myrtle Ercel Stenerson Depner Hill, 95, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Private viewing will be from 9-11 a.m.

Mrs. Hill died Nov. 2, 2005, at Evergreen Convalescent Center of complications from diabetes.

She was born May 7, 1910, in Saskatchewan, Regina, Canada, to Ercel Inez Smith Stenerson and Julius Bernard Stenerson. She grew up on the Smith Ranch and Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where she attended schools.

She studied nursing and attended Grace Ball Business College.

She married Robert Crist Depner in 1931 in Spokane, Wash.

She married Clifford G. Hill in Reno.

Mrs. Hill worked as a secretary in military intelligence for the U.S. government at Edwards Air Force Base in California and for newspapers. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reciting and writing poetry, stories, news articles, oil and watercolor painting, preserving family history and she belonged to many clubs. She was a member of the Unity Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Clifford Hill on Dec. 30, 1989; brother Patrick Stenerson; sister Mildred Thorstad and niece Marlene Throm.

Among her survivors are sons and daughters-in-law Robert Charles and Carol Depner and Roderick William and Kathleen Moni Depner; daughters and sons-in-law Marilyn Elise and Mel Huff and Jan Laurine and Angelo Manconi; grandchildren Laurie Billington, Charlie Greene, Michelle Sides, John Huff, Michael Huff, Sean McCoy, Angelo Manconi, Jr., Krist Depner, Shane Depner and Karissa Samaniego; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the Silver Springs Cemetery.
