Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 24-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Monday on a misdemeanor warrant. Bail was set at $784.

• A 20-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of East Park Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $1,000.

n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 4000 block of Knoblock Road sometime Monday night.

• A camcorder and cell phone were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Windtree Circle sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning.

• A person entering the courthouse at 3:41 p.m. Monday was in possession of brass knuckles. A report was taken.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Commercial burglary report on River Ranch Road in Fernley at 6:26 a.m.

• Domestic dispute in the 600 block of Brook Lane at 6:33 a.m. in Fernley.

• Vandalism report on Airpark Vista in Dayton at 7:38 a.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 at mile marker 68 at 2:24 p.m.

• Search warrant execution in the 500 block of Concord Drive in Fernley at 2:42 p.m.

• Accident on Main Street in Fernley at 4:30 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 5:19 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 5:44 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 5:54 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 5:59 p.m.

• Accident on Highway 50 Alternate at the east end of Farm District Road in Fernley at 6:34 p.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 at mile marker 59 at 7:22 p.m.

• Accident on in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 8:26 p.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 70 in Fernley at 9:04 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A report of a large pile of cement in the road at Empire Road was unfounded at 8:28 a.m.

• Vandalism by paint ball was reported at Hillside Elementary School at 8:54 a.m.

• A woman bitten by a wasp at Piper's Opera House was taken to the hospital by paramedics at 11:14 a.m.

• A young male driver spun his wheels and took off in a school zone after being told to slow down at 1:10 p.m.

• An accident report on Interstate 80 in Lockwood at 7:51 p.m.

• An accident report on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile marker 34 at 8:12 p.m.

• Head-on collision on State Route 655 at 11:15 p.m.
