Jump Around Carson Bus System to be operational on Nevada Day

The Jump Around Carson Bus System will be operating Saturday to provide Carson City residents with transportation to the Nevada Day events.

The system will run on a normal route schedule except for alterations due to street closures for the Nevada Day Parade.

During those times, the buses will continue to operate, but will be forced to avoid Carson Street during those times.

Route 3 will stay on the east side of Carson Street and continue south to the Carson Valley Plaza.

Routes 2A will travel west but will not begin at the transfer point, but instead begin near Division and Washington streets. Route 2B will begin at the transfer point and travel east along the route.

Route 1 will miss the Pride Stop on Winnie Lane and will instead travel north on Lone Mountain Drive to Sage Street to rejoin the route on Hot Springs Road.

The JAC Bus System will not operate on today in observance of the Nevada Day holiday, but will operate on a normal schedule on Monday.
