Carson High graduate Sarah Stallling continues to play well for the Southwestern Community College women's soccer team of Coos Bay, Ore.

On Friday, Stalling had a goal and an assist in Southwestern's 3-0 win over Treasure Valley. Stalling dedicated her effort to her best friend, Stacia Bernard, who died in an automobile accident in Mound House on Thursday. Stalling and Bernard had known each other for 15 years.

On Saturday, Stalling scored two goals in a 4-0 win over Columbia Basin. Southwestern is now in second place in its division. Southwestern still has a chance to win the division title with two games left heading into the regional playoffs.
