Lois L. Dwyer

Lois L. Dwyer, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, died Sept. 11, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Minnesota, to Clarence and Lucille Smith Knutson.

She married Gerald Dwyer on July 14, 1976, in Boulder City.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Grants Pass, Ore.

Mrs. Dwyer was an electronics assembler. She was an artist and a Lutheran.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons Robert Hook of Minden and Perry Hook of Gardnerville; daughter, Janine Reiser of Seattle; sisters Doris Holmes and Karen Baertschiger, both of Grants Pass; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
