A memorial service for Kenneth Wayne "Ken" Hanner, 27, a La Pine, Ore., resident for the past 11 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in La Pine with the Rev. James Radloff of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church officiating.

Mr. Hanner died Sept. 24, 2005, at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Ore., as the result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born Aug. 28, 1978, in Carson City, to Kenneth James and Brenda Kay Lankford Hanner.

He grew up in Carson City and Gridley, Calif., and moved to La Pine in 1994.

He married Randi-Lynn Pokorny on Dec. 22, 2002, in Silver Springs.

Mr. Hanner was a framer for Jake Lambert Construction building custom homes in La Pine.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and watching the Raiders play football.

Among his survivors are his father of La Pine; mother of Redding, Calif.; wife and daughter Angeline Hanner, both of La Pine; brother Ron of Ft. Hood, Texas; grandparents Carl J. and Dolores Hanner of Carson City and J.C. Lankford and Betty Romine, both of Wheatland, Wyo., and godparents Wayne and Betty Hanner of Gridley.

Memorial contributions may be made to any US Bank in the name of The Angeline Hanner Education Fund.

Baird Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
