Roger Keith Sharp, 52, a 15-year Carson City resident, died March 29, 2006, at his home in Carson City.

Mr. Sharp was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Witney, England, to Robert Sharp and Lilian Chapman.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.

He was a journeyman carpenter.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

He was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Richard Curtis; and grandmother Daisy Margaret Curtis.

Among his survivors are his longtime companion, Karin Tancrell; sons Bill Sharp of Davis, Calif., and Ryan Sharp of California; mother and stepfather Lilian and Bob Chapman of England; sisters Sonya Vernon of California, Sandra Inberg of Missouri and Susan Sharp and Sylvia Sharp, both of England; four grandchildren; and numerous extended-family members.

Cremation took place at Capitol City Cremation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
