The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:54 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $369 cash.


• A 33-year-old customer service representative from Carson City was arrested at 8:12 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of College Parkway on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for battery. Bail was set at $2,500.


• An 18-year-old transient Claire's worker was arrested at 3:18 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $1,132. Also arrested was an 18-year-old insurance worker from Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $1,132.


• Chris Bell, 26, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Village Drive on suspicion of felony violation of probation and misdemeanor domestic battery. No bail was set.


• Duane Caten, 43, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.


• A 31-year-old casino worker from Carson City was arrested at 5:53 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of South Roop Street on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,264. Also arrested was a 25-year-old unemployed man from Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a 20-year-old unemployed man from Carson City on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for both was set at $1,132 each.


• David Becerra Gomez Jr., 48, of Reno, was arrested at 10:29 a.m. Friday at Long Street and Molly Drive on suspicion of a felony warrant for obtaining property under false pretenses, misdemeanor violation of a stop sign, fictitious display of plates and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $20,946.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 116 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a drunken driver on Highway 95A in Mason Valley at 1:40 p.m. Friday.


• A destruction of property complaint taken at the Fernley substation at 2:23 p.m. Friday.


• A report of larceny in the 400 block of Main Street in Fernley at 7:03 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a drunken driver on Carry Way in Mound House at 8:55 p.m. Friday.




Storey County


The following are some of the 26 calls to which deputies responded:


• A domestic dispute in the 400 block of De La Bleu De Cla in Lockwood at 12:10 p.m. Friday.


• A report of drug activity in the 400 block of De La Bleu De Cla in Lockwood at 2:05 p.m. Friday.


• A traffic stop at Waltham and State Road 655 at 1:48 a.m. Saturday. The driver was issued a warning for violation of a stop sign.


• A report of theft of a glass eye from the 1800s valued at $5,000 from a location in the 80 block of North C Street in Virginia City at 6:16 a.m. Saturday. The item was later found.
