A memorial service for Catherine "Kitty" Heintz, 76, a 12-year Carson City resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Southgate Apartments, 2100 California St.
Ms. Heintz died April 14, 2006, at home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Santa Clara, Calif., to Evereist and Mary Costa.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Jose, Calif.
She retired from Harrah's at Tahoe.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Cathy Valente of Nipomo, Calif.; son, Gary Freitas of San Leandro, Calif.; sister ,Mary Dillworth of New Jersey; one grandchild; nieces Helen Baldwin of New Jersey, Bonnie Gillian of Carson City and Linda Monize of Michigan; seven great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
Cremation took place at Capitol City Cremation.
Capital City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
