Chad C. Harris, 42, a 15-year Carson City resident, died April 17, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Harris was born Oct. 22, 1963, in Covina, Calif., to Richard P. Harris and Grace Paddock.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Angeles.
He was a carpenter for several years and later a roofer for Nevada Roofing Co. in Carson City.
He belonged to the First Christian Church.
He enjoyed football and NASCAR stock car racing.
Among his survivors are his father of Virginia; mother of Carson City; companion of 23 years, Kim Gallagher, of Carson City; sons Bryan and Bradley Harris, both of Carson City; adopted daughter Brandi Feddern of Carson City; and brother Drew Harris of California.
A funeral service and visitation was held Friday, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Cremation took place at Walton's Sierra Crematory after the service.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
