Patricia Jean Cook, 76, a 12-year Carson City resident, died Aug. 26, 2006, at her home.

Mrs. Cook was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Berkeley, Calif., to Charles and Helen Curran.

She married Virgil Edison Price on Feb. 14, 1948, in Oakland, Calif. She married Marshall Goldman Cook on Sept. 21, 1976, in Reno.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Cook lived in Walnut Creek, Calif.

She graduated from Oakland Tech High School in Oakland, Calif.

She was a real estate broker and worked in property management.

She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Ziggy.

She was preceded in death by husband Virgil Price in April 1976 in Portola, Calif.; by husband Marshall Cook in December 1991 in Martinez, Calif.; by grandson Daniel Cook in February 2004 in Walnut Creek; and by nephew Johnny Curran in 1971 in Vietnam.

Among her survivors are daughter and son-in-law Janet and Edward Young; daughter Nancy Duehring; son and daughter-in-law Steven and Wally Price; sons Lou, David and Dana Cook; sisters Shirley Beason of Clayton, Calif., and Bobbie Royce of Fort Smith, Ark.; 19 grandchildren, eight grandchildren and several extended-family members.
