A memorial service for Wayne E. Hiltgen, 57, a Minden resident since 1994, will be 6 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Hiltgen died Feb. 23, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Dec. 15, 1948, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Robert J. and Ruth Hiltgen.
He married Kathy Hiltgen on April 20, 1992, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Minden, he lived in Orange County, Calif.
He was an automotive technician for Nissan of Reno for the past 10 years.
Mr. Hiltgen was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed working with computers, woodworking and reading about new technology in the electronics field.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; son Sean M. of Dallas, Texas; daughter Catherine E. Hiltgen of Las Vegas; sister Karen Rice of Wisconsin; sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Richard Sullivan of Carson City; brother Dale of Los Gatos, Calif.; brother-in-law Patrick Triffon of Carson City and one grandson.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
