A memorial service for Lizetta "Connie" Coscarelly Currier, 85, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Currier died Dec. 13, 2005, in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Angola, Ind., to Joseph and Rose Coscarelly.
Mrs. Currier was a Carson City resident since 1972 and moved to Las Vegas six months ago. Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Concord, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Currier on July 2, 1986; a grandson; three brothers; and two sisters.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Jean of Redwood City, Calif.; daughter Nancy Smith of Las Vegas; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and Albert Ashway of Las Vegas and Virginia and Scott Oveson of Carson City; daughter Kathleen Black of Carson City; sisters Pat Green of Las Vegas, Anna Phelps and Virginia Bianconi of Carson City and Josephine Mendoza of San Jose, Calif.; brothers Peter and Clyde Coscarelly of San Jose, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Desert Memorial Crematory, Las Vegas, is in charge of arrangements.
