A funeral service for Barbara Ellen Aylesworth, 71, a 12-year resident of Carson City, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carson Valley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Minden.
Mrs. Aylesworth died Jan 14, 2006. She was born June 27, 1934, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Clement Alfred and Mary MacDonald.
She was a bookkeeper for Marketing & Design Co. in housewares.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a past president of its Relief Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1993.
Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Janet Olson of Roy, Utah, William and Tricia Olson of Odgen, Utah, and Michael and Tanya Olson of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Howard Rush of Carson City and Brenda and Jay Dossey of Gardnerville; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Jerry Scheib, of Hiram, Utah; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Theresa Allred, of Woodland Hills, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Inglewood Memorial Park, in Inglewood, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
