A funeral service for Gladys P. Warren, 79, a longtime Northern Nevada resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Warren died Jan. 29, 2006, at her home in Reno. She was born June 6, 1926, in Punkin Holler, Okla.

She married Leslie "Red" Warren in 1940.

She moved to Reno in 1959. Prior to that, she lived in Fallon. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling.

She was a past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Reno No. 207 and past state mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Ellen Warren of Bellingham, Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Dave Costa of Carson City and Pamela and Bill Miller of Wisconsin; brother and sister-in-law, Burt and Emma Jean VanKoman of Fallon; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Churchill County Cemetery in Fallon.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
