A funeral service for William A. Hamilton, 56, an eight-year Dayton resident will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Walton's.

Mr. Hamilton died July 14, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Oakland, Calif., to Richard James and Marilyn Hamilton. He married Brenda S. Hamilton on June 12, 1988, in Las Vegas.

Hamilton was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked in data analysis. He enjoyed listening to and collecting Frank Sinatra music, the snow, golfing and attending music concerts.

Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; parents of Cottonwood, Calif.; sisters Theresa Channell of Cottonwood, and Belinda Sidwell of Livermore, Calif.; brothers Steve Hamilton of Hayward, Calif., and Al Hamilton of Modesto, Calif.

Burial will be in Tulare, Calif.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
