A funeral service for Patricia V. "Pat" Block, 77, a Gardnerville resident, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Zimmer Funeral Chapel, 805 N. Sixth St. in Sheboygan, Wis. with the Rev. Michael Dineen officiating. Burial will follow at the Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan.
Mrs. Block died June 16, 2006, at the South Lyon Medical and Long-Term Care Center in Yerington. She was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Sheboygan to Hubert Buhk and Juanita Wert.
She attended Central High School in Sheboygan.
She married Herbert Block on Feb. 1, 1947.
She worked for the Sheboygan Tinsel Works and the Jung Shoe Co. for several years and retired from Wigwam Mills in Sheboygan after many years.
She enjoyed riding scooters with her husband, playing bingo, going to casinos, sewing, and craft sales.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jan. 14, 1992; by her brothers Richard, Hubert and Howard Buhk; and by grandson Michael Gorr.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Marvin and Martha Block of Cleveland, Wis.; daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Robert Johnson of Gardnerville and Cindy and Jerry Ziegelbauer of Sheboygan; brother and sister-in-law Roland and Virginia Buhk of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Charlotte Wittkopp of Plymouth, Wis.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
