Sharon Elizabeth Cox Lang, 83, a five-year resident of Gardnerville, died March 2, 2006.
Mrs. Lang was born July 14, 1922, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, to Elva Bowers and Dale William Cox.
She married Peter Wall Lang on April 16, 1946, in Beverly Hills, Calif.
She graduated from Mills College in Oakland, Calif., in 1943 with a degree in psychology.
She was a real estate broker, owning and running Lang Realty and Rentals with her husband for 20 years.
She was a member of the Barton Hospital Auxiliary, South Lake TAhoe Cancer League and the South Lake Tahoe Women's League.
She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, snowmobiling, Jeeping, outdoor activities and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Stephen W. and Joyce, daughter Nancy Lang and son Robert W., all of Gardnerville; brother and sister-in-law Dale William and Patricia Cox of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; brother-in-law David Lang and wife Betty Jane of Corona del Mar, Calif.; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
