Theodore 'Ted' R. Spada

Inurnment for Theodore "Ted" R. Spada, 79, a nine-year resident of Carson City, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, Calif.

Mr. Spada died March 19, 2006, at his home.

He was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Theodore Spada Sr. and Anna Kaczmarek.

He married Joan C. on Feb. 25, 1945, in New York.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Palm Springs, Calif.

He was a self-employed upholsterer.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert G. Spada; and brother Joseph Spada.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughter, Barbara A. Smith of Reno; brother Andrew Spada of California; two grandchildren in Reno; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation took place at Capitol City Cremation in Carson City.

Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
