A funeral Mass for Madeline Sophie Roddam, 83, a 17-year Carson City resident, has been changed to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. A rosary will be said at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Roddam died Nov. 21, 2006, at her home. She was born April 22, 1923, in Warsaw, N.D., to Frank Riske and Katherine Ebertowski.

She married Marthier "H" Roddam on May 31, 1942, in Buena Park, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Roddam lived in Anaheim, Calif.

She worked at Knotts Berry Farm in the shipping department for 30 years.

She belonged to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her son Roddney Allen Roddam; brothers Edward, Allec, Hilary, Henry and Frank Jr. Riske; and sisters Aurelia Riske, Mae Korynta, Gertie Uhlir, Florence Nipp and Frances Riske.

Among her survivors are her husband; daughters and sons-in-law Rosalyn Joy and David Crist of Overgaard, Ariz., and Sheryl Marthier and Kenneth Strout of Redlands, Calif.; sisters Katherine Smith and Irene Riskey, both of Carson City; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, Calif.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice of Reno or St. Vincents of Carson City.
