The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Shane Anthony Hamrick, 33, a roofer from Carson City, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Brown Street on suspicion of gross-misdemeanor child abuse, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $11,864.


• Fred Gower, 12, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at Edmonds Drive and Brown Street on suspicion of felony possession of counterfeit money and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $8,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East.


• Graffiti reports on Tahoe Drive, South Carson Street, South Curry Street, East William Street and Silver Sage Drive.


• Vehicle burglary report on Merrimac Way at 8:03 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report in the 4400 block of Highway 50 East.


• Child-abuse report in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East.


• Vehicle-theft report in the 7200 block of Highway 50 East.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Fight report on Hardie Lane in Fernley at 7:40 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest in Silver Springs on Highway 95 Alternate at 12:02 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Pueblo Drive in Silver Springs at 2:03 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Pueblo Drive in Silver Springs at 2:28 p.m.


• Residential burglary report on Iroquois Trail in Stagecoach at 6:10 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Railroad Street in Dayton at 11:49 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Vehicle-vandalism report on Waltham Way at 2:48 p.m.


• Report of a child possibly electrocuted on South D Street at 5:55 p.m.
