A funeral for Carlos A. Fraga, 75, a seven-year Carson City resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Walton's.

Mr. Fraga died Sept. 30, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 25, 1930, in Cuba to Fernando and Maria Fraga.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Fraga lived in Barstow, Calif.

He had worked as a waiter for Paramount Pictures.

He enjoyed playing roulette at the Atlantis in Reno, photography and movies.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Fraga.

Among his survivors are his companion, Gerry Pearson of Carson City; sons Carlos A. Fraga Jr. and George Fraga, both of Carson City, and Joseph Fraga of Dayton; sister, Sylvia Fernandez of Spain; brothers Fernando Fraga of Costa Rica and Jorge B. Fraga of Yucca Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
