The 2006, any legal weapon, mule deer hunting season will open on Saturday, Nov. 4 for a number of big game management areas located in the western portion of the state of Nevada. Those seasons will close on Dec. 3.
Management area Nos. 192 (south of U.S. 50 and west of U.S. 395), 194 & 196 (West of Carson City and Reno), 195 (the Virginia City area) and 291 (the Pine Nut Mountains), all surround Carson City.
Only those hunters with tags received through the computerized drawing process, earlier this year, are permitted to hunt.
