Holy week services

Corpus Christi Catholic Community will hold a 7 p.m. Mandatum Holy Thursday.

Good Friday is a Celebration of the Lord's Passion and Death. Stations of the Cross will be presented at noon; Rosary of the Seven Dolors is at 1 p.m.; Guided Meditation at 2 p.m.; Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion at 3 p.m.

At 9 p.m. Holy Saturday, an Easter Vigil will be led with Father Jim's Intentions. There are no 4 or 6 p.m. Mass, and no confessions.

Easter Sunday, Masses will be 8 and 10 a.m., with a Spanish Mass at noon.

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community will hold the following services in recognition of Holy Week.

Holy Thursday will feature a 7 p.m. Mass of the Lord's Supper. There will be no 7 a.m. Mass.

Good Friday, there will be no 7 a.m. Mass. A 3 p.m. Spanish Veneration service will be held and a traditional Good Friday service is at 7 p.m.

No confessions will be held Holy Saturday and there will be no 4 p.m. Mass.

An 8 p.m. Easter Vigil Mass will be held.

On Easter Sunday, a 6 a.m. Sunrise Mass will be held, with Masses at 8 and 10 a.m. and noon. A 2 p.m. Spanish Mass will be held and no Mass at 5 p.m.

St. Paul's Old Episcopal Church

St. Paul's Old Episcopal Church will hold Easter service 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Virginia City.

The Knights Templar will participate in service baptism.

First Christian Church

J.B. Saxx will appear in concert at 7 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church, 326 E. John St. in Carson City.

The concert is free admission; a love offering will be accepted. Saxx can play 11 instruments, with the saxophone as his primary instrument.

Easter celebration will feature Shiloh at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services Sunday at the church, with an evening service at 6 p.m. featuring Shiloh.

Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church will have an Easter breakfast and egg hunt at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, with an Easter service at 10:30 a.m.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church

St. Peter's Episcopal Church will hold Maundy Thursday - a Seder meal, foot washing and communion at 6 p.m. today.

Good Friday service will be at noon and cohosted with St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community, 3000 N. Lompa Lane. A 7 p.m. Good Friday service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 305 N. Minnesota St.

Holy Saturday services include a 5:30 p.m. Vespers at St. Peter's, and the Great Easter Vigil and Baptisms at 7.

Easter Sunday, an 8 a.m. Easter service Rith II will be held, with a contemporary Easter service at 10 a.m.
